Burns are one of serious injuries that can affect human being.Its effects on physical, social and economical aspects of patient's and their families' life are very significant.Prevention is very important for any accident but for bums this is highlighted.The first step in confronting any disease or event is gathering data considering various aspects of it's for exaniple person, time, place and risk factors.In this study that is a descriptive one we review about I085 patients hospital documents retrospectively in the Burn hospital of Isfahan, Imam Mousa Kazem. Sampling method was census and all patients entered in study except the patients who stayed for less than one day 111 hospital and I patients who admitted for plastic and reconstructive surgeries. About 57 were male and 43 were female, the mean oFage was 21.8 years .mean of total body surface area (TBSA) was 28.3 (males 24.6 and females (31.4 ) in admitted patients, the age group cif under 5 years old showed the highest percentage (23 ) and the age group of over 50 years old had the least percentage -Tlle mean of hospital stay duration was IO.G days. The most common cause was scalds (28 ) but undei category of flame (Keroseneتgasoline-fire تgas fe reached to 5 totally, from all patients who were admitted 15.7 died durir the study and the most eoinmoi cause Was flame. About 61 of burns occurred in homes and [he reiiminin occurred outdoor such as work places and in industrial sites ,The most common season for burn in this study was winter with 33.2 ofall accidents. Regarding in formations from this study we can recognize risk factors and ro~ips with high risk and epidemiological aspects of this accident Due to this fact that burns are preventable we need in formations front our population because planning and education for Iligii risk groups end high risk behaviors need these elements..
