| Abstract

Introduction: Hemodialysis is a necessary measure for end stage renal disease patient before kidney transplant. There are few methods which PermCath insertion is one of the alternatives. Method: 49 end stage renal disease patients participated in our study and a Permcath was placed through anterolateral cannulation of the right shoulder for all of them. Result: All candidates went under Permcath insertion through our approach successfully 79.6 percent of our candidate faced no long term complication. Conclusion: Right shoulder anterolateral cannulation of the right internal jugular vein is a new approach in Permcath placement which has fewer complications and better compliance.
