Introduction: CPG(clinical practical guideline) are designed to improve the quality of health Care to reduce the use of unnecessary ineffective or harmful intervention & to facilitate the treatment of patient with maximum chance of benefit which minimum risk of harm and at an acceptable cost. Method: This present study attempt to design standard protocol for GIB patients & compared this protocol effect (after & before of design & application) in management, duration of hospitalization, costs of 100 GTB patient (50 pt→ before & 50 pt → after CPG codification) in AL Zahra-hospital, Isfahan,Iran.2013-2014.CPG was designed, codification & underwent several revise, finally. This was used for 3 months as pilot study.Result: 100 patients who included in present study, there were in none CPG group 76% male and 24% female & in CPG group 78% male and 22% female. in none CPG group arrival time until first visit was lesser than CPG group but in CPG group hospitalization time and expense was lesser than none CPG group.
