Abstract : Background: Atherosclerosis is one of major causes of cardiovascular mortality. Inflammation has proved to have a role in this process and inflammatory markers can predict the prognosis of atherosclerotic events such as acute coronary syndrome and ST elevation myocardial infarction.Method: We assess the prognostic values of blood cell counts and their proportions, platelets, C reactive protein, cholesterols, triglycerides, creatinine and troponin in patients with ST elevation myocardial infarction undergoing primary per cutaneous intervention.Result: Significant prognostic values were found for neutrophil count, platelets count, fasting blood sugar, cholesterol, triglycerides, low density lipoprotein, creatinine and C reactive protein. Conclusion: We found that platelets to lymphocytes ratio would have prognostic value for predicting reflowing after primary per cutaneous cardiac intervention but considering C-reactive protein, Platelets count, fasting blood suger, cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein and creatinine could have result in a more valuable and inexpensively available tool for predicting percutaneous intrvention outcome in patients with st elevation myocardial infarction.
